The President's Room

The President's Room

Our most spacious guest room, with its golden maple floors, gently wakes guests with the warmth of the morning sun pouring in from the east.

During Fredrick Lehmann's political career, he was known to have entertained three different presidents, Taft, McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt. Lehmann's personal correspondence supports this, as letters between Taft and Lehmann are part of the framed decor.

Our most spacious guest room, with its golden maple flooring, gently wakes you in the morning with the warmth of the sun pouring in from the east.  In the evening, with its western view, you are treated with a scene of the setting sun.

Adjoining the President's room is a sprawling, marble tiled private bath, authentically restored with many of its original features. Though you can enjoy a quick shower in the marble tiled shower, for those of you that enjoy the luxury of a long bath, this bathroom boasts a six foot long tub, built for two.

The Presidents' Room features a wood burning fireplace (upon request, weather permitting), cable TV, king bed.  Rates based on double occupancy. Extra persons can be accommodated upon request at an additional charge.

'We absolutely loved our stay in the Presidents' Room.  We will be back to St. Louis and will be staying with you again.' Jackie & Clifton, Olathe, KS
